OK OK been a couple of years. Been a little busy lately. Well, I have a few more 4 legged grandchildren, off shiftwork for the first time in 30+ years, and a couple years older.
Cats are well. They are 10 years old now. Been fussing at each a little more than normal.
Was looking at some old cruise photos the other day. It struck me that 3 of the 8 people in the picture are gone now. It has hit home that we shouldn't go as long as we do between visits with Bob and Barb. Not mention it is Florida where they live....
Went to Buffett at the Drive-In last week. Even Hubby enjoyed it and he isn't a Parrothead. Oh.. and ... I get to drive my dream car during the summer. Ford. Mustang.... Convertable. the fact it is a Cobra is incidental. Now, all I have to do is win the lottery to get it painted the way I want :D
I am trying out a new recipe tonight. It is a Rhubarb cake. little over cooked to get the center done but I think it will be fine. Don't bake much anymore. Hubby is cutting back on carbs and sugar isn't a friend anymore. I have finally admitted I need to stay away from cake AND icing.
Not much excitement. I am looking forward to the Barnstable county fair in 3 1/2 weeks. Monday I plan on helping Kathy shear the llamas and alpacas. Don't plan on being around when it is Cal's turn. He's not into shearing too much. I still have some fiber from two years ago. I plan on kicking my production into high gear... YA, HA HA good one hee hee.
